UAE Vice President meets Vice Chancellors and Presidents of Federal Universities and Colleges

 

UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum met the Vice Chancellors, Presidents, Deans and Faculty Officials representing national universities and colleges at the Al Bahr Palace in Dubai.



Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum attended the meeting along with; H.H. Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Fly Dubai and Chairman and Chief Executive Emirates Airline & Group; H.H. Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, Minister of Higher Education & Scientific Research; H.E Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs; H.E Humaid Mohammad Al Qatami, Minister of Education; H.E Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Owais, Minister of Culture, Youth, and Community Development and Acting Minister of Health; Lt.H.E General Musabah Rashid Al Fattan, Director of Office of H.H. UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai; H.E Ibrahim Mohamed Bomlha, Advisor of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum for Cultural and Humanitarian Affairs; H.E Khalifa Saeed Sulaiman, Director-General of the Department of Protocol and Hospitality in Dubai and other senior officials, education and academic leaders in the UAE.



His Highness discussed during the meeting with university officials a number of university and educational issues and emphasized the importance of knowledge and education for mankind and the progress and prosperity of nations.
