The Chancellor Attends the Annual UAEU Convocation 2011-12

 

H.H. Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, Chancellor of UAE University, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, attended the UAE University Annual Convocation commencing the 2011 – 2012 Academic Year. Convocation this year was held on Monday 19 September 2011 and for the first time in the Great Hall of the Crescent Building on the New Campus.



H.H. the Minister stressed during the gathering the strong commitment of the University to continue to perform its role in Education, Scientific Research and Community Service, in order to achieve the University’s goal of becoming a top tier University worldwide.



At the end of the meeting, H.H. Sheikh Nahayan, H.E. Dr Abdullah Al Khanbashi and the accompanied delegation paid a visit to the new Campus.
